“I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Aguilera and his fantastic staff. From the moment I walked in the door they treated me like family. Dr. Aguilera has a genuine positive upbeat and encouraging personality, as well as a calming disposition. His staff follows suit in their own personable ways. The whole staff is extremely well educated, but are able to articulate things in ways that are easy to understand. The technology is all state of the art and also helps in patient understanding. The website is full of helpful information for every step of the various procedures they perform. I was super impressed by the way they got in touch with my doctor and insurance companies on my behalf and kept me closely informed, which seriously eliminated the hassle of playing phone tag and trying to figure out my benefits and other necessary information. When I was nervous pre-surgery Justine and Amber comforted me and put my mind at ease. The surgery was handled with care as evidenced by my easy recovery with minimal pain. I had my kids with me for my post-op follow up and one of the staff members brought them toys, another staff member came by just to encourage me, and then another helped me out to my car. They were already top notch but it’s the little extra personal touches like this that really set them apart. If you have to have oral surgery you should definitely trust Dr. Aguilera and his magnificent staff.”

Our dog turned on my then 23 month old daughter, Emma, and she had a major facial laceration along the side of her face. “I am writing to relate my recent experience with the office of oral surgeon Dr. Armando Aguilera.
Following a root canal several months prior, a significant gum infection developed which could have resulted in loss of the tooth if not resolved. Dr. Aguilera was the second oral surgeon I consulted regarding this problem. Besides being a skilled practitioner, what set him apart was his calm demeanor, relaxed approach and willingness to spend significant time evaluating the situation and discussing at length the objectives and risks of different courses of action. As important, he asked for my input regarding treatment. Interestingly, he rejected the standard protocol for treating my issue. At the end of the day, I feel the two of us collaborated in deciding on a course of action. We chose a more conservative treatment which would still accomplish the objective. Three months later, it appears to have been a success. I also want to recognize his excellent staff… young ladies with great attitudes and accomplished in their respective roles.
In conclusion, my experience was quite positive, and I recommend this practice without hesitation. “

“Just to be clear, I hate going to the dentist. The pain, feeling of inadequacy when it comes to my dental health, the needles and the expense all contribute to this fear. Considering this, my experience at TN Oral Facial Surgery blew me out of the water.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a kind and understanding woman that put my fears at ease with her ready smiles and distracting questions. Next, I was taken back and the Dr’s assistant ran me through the possibilities, risks and was also incredibly kind and gracious with me.

I’m not positive how to write this email because I have not done this type thing before, but this time I feel it is very necessary that I speak up.
A few weeks ago, I was sent to your office for a tooth extraction that I was really dreading. My last experience wasn’t a very nice one at another dental surgeon’s office. I was not in a very good frame of mind when I arrived at your office.
From the moment I walked into your office I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Everyone there went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. When I was taken to the back, the options and procedure was explained to me completely, and as time went by I was feeling more comfortable.
I was then positioned for the extraction and a very kind and understanding young lady was standing at my left side. She constantly was inquiring if I was ok and how good I was doing. When things were getting a little uncomfortable she would pat my shoulder ever so gently just to let me know she was there with me….this helped me more than anyone would ever know. She was so gentle and kind, helpful and caring all at the same time. I believe her name is Ashley and I want to make sure she knows how very much I appreciate the care she provided me that day.
As I was leaving the office that day and when I returned for a follow up visit a few days later, the lady working at the front desk was also very kind and helpful towards me. I am writing this because I want the Doctor to know how wonderful and caring his staff is to the patients. I was treated with compassion and kindness from the moment I walk through the doors and throughout my entire experience, I will happily spread the word around about the wonderful care I received, and plan to tell my personal Dentist he needs to recommend more people to your office for treatment.
I want to just say Thanks to each and every one of you in the office for making me feel so comfortable during an uncomfortable time for me. Thanks SO much and especially to Ashley….and the doc too of course! 😉 “

“We went to Dr. Aguilera for a second opinion on a spot in my son’s mouth that had to be removed. After talking with him and him answering every question that I could possibly think of, I knew that I wanted him to be the one to remove it. But I wanted to leave that decision up to my son. I asked him where he felt more comfortable and who he wanted to do it and he chose Dr. Aguilera. He and the whole office staff are so kind. They called the evening after it was removed to make sure he was doing well and Dr. Aguilera called the next morning to make sure he slept ok and it wasn’t bothering him too much.
